Lidong(or “the Start of Winter) marks the arrival of winter with drops in temperature,it is the 19th solar term on the Chinese lunar calendar which falls on Nov 8 this year.
Lidong holds a profound historical and cultural significance in China. It is associated not only with agricultural activities and seasonal eating habits but also carries people’s hopes and aspirations for the winter season.
Most of Chinese will make and eat dumplings together for celebration.Today,Dingyan prepare plates of dumplings in different favor for our whole team,including celery beef stuffing,pork stuffing with shiitake,egg stuffing,ect.
